What is Camp Kesem?

Camp Kesem serves children whose parents have cancer.  Its signature program is a summer camp.  Each camp is affiliated with a college and run by college student volunteers.  Started at Stanford University in 2008, Camp Kesem has since expanded to 73 university chapters.  Right now, over 3 million children have been touched by a parent’s cancer, and Camp Kesem remains the only organization dedicated to serving this unique population.  This summer, over 3,000 college students will provide life-changing experiences to 6,000 children.

How do we start a chapter at Bradley University?

The Bradley Camp Kesem chapter will require a seeding of $40,000 and after that it will be completely self–sustaining. We have offered to help spearhead this fundraising, and we are asking for your help. Please view the video below and consider making a donation by clicking on the Donate button on this page, which will go directly to starting a special place at Bradley University.

Please also help us reach as many Bradley alums as we can over the next few weeks by forwarding this link (donate.kesem.org/bradleyuniversitychapter) to your fellow Bradley friends!

We know that there are many, many requests and demands for your resources, and in advance we say thank you!
